Cheap Car Rentals in Encanto, Phoenix

I went to pick up my prepaid reservation and was told they didn't have a vehicle for me. I was also informed they would not do a refund. I asked about my reservation/contract that was paid for, the manager stated that I could call Hertz corporate but he and I did not have a contract and it was not his problem. I tried to explain that when I made a reservation and paid for it that is a contract. He wanted nothing to do with me. I went to another rental company for a vehicle and am now fighting to get a refund. I will not use Kayak again if this is the company standards the represent.

I had an awful time with the 949 W Camelback Rd Phoenixaz, Phoenix, AZ 85013 location. My flight was delayed so I was unable to pick up my car before the locations closing. So I called customer service the morning after, was told they would hold the car for 24 hours. I arrived at the location, they said that customer service is wrong and that they will not hold the car for more than 2 hours. So they gave my car to someone else and said they had no other cars that they could offer me. I called customer service again, they started by saying that this location had cars to rent and should hold the car for 24 hours. After some back and forth, they figured out that they actually had no cars to rent out in the entire city. Then they proceeded to tell me I can get a refund if I cancel an hour before, which is obviously too late and not helpful information at this point. I asked them what can they do for me as I prepaid, and would be leaving without a car. After some time on hold, the associate said that they would give me a full refund on my reservation and I would get it in 7-10 business days, as well as an email receipt confirmation. This was 4 days ago, I have not received an email confirmation, and am currently unsure if I am still getting this refund. I ended up spending over $200 in Ubers for the weekend, more than what I was spending on the rental car. I reached out to their customer service again, I pray that I actually get this refund.

Didn’t like a damn thing about Hertz they canceled my reservation cause they said I didn’t show up on time so I was without a car all weekend and my plans were destroyed because of that!!!!

they didn't have the car we requested. representative lied to us at first and said they had no electric cars. then tried to convince us why we didn't need one. then she told us they did have one but we'd need to wait 15-20 minutes. then she told us that none were charged and we were forced to take a car we didn't want (or a van). she was non-apologetic over all of this. seemed frustrated that we wanted the car we ordered. We had to take a shuttle to their off-airport facility so were basically stuck with them. Car we got was fine but overall experience was awful. never again will deal with them.

Car was nice and a reasonable rate. Was double charged for the deposit and they refused to do anything about it. The customer service representative I spoke to was also extremely rude about it.

We had a great experience renting a car from Enterprise . This includes both picking up and dropping off ! Jocelyn and Bennett were informative , prompt and efficient in getting us through the process . Its people like them that are a key to Nationals success ! Keep up the good work and customers will choose National !

Great service, clean car, appreciated the kindness of the staff

This Budget was on Indian School Road, a $20 Lyft ride from the airport. It charged 1/2 of what the airport Budget charged. Well worth it!
