Cheap Car Rentals in Los Angeles from ₱1,526

Would like to thank mid way team for making my rental experience easy and smooth. I can't thank you enough for your professionalism, great Customer service and for providing a clean vehicle which made me feel as if I were on my own. Definitely deserve 5+ stars! Absolutely the best!

The smoothing renting experience i had in LA

We waited for more than 45 minutes to get the airport shuttle to Midway, and finally gave up and instead took the bus to Uber/Lyft and paid for a ride to Midway. Then we waited more than 1 hour in line to get to the counter. On the return, we couldn’t get the door for refueling open to gas up. We called and went to two separate gas stations after they called back. The their instructions didn’t work. Waiting for the shuttle bus was again problematic because it never came, so we ended up taking the shuttle from an adjoining hotel. Needless to say, we almost missed our flight home.

I’m still in contact with them as I’ve been overcharged

The price i got from the web page ended being over 50% more, it took about an hour to get the car and they assigned me a car tha was already assigned to another person, and they took like 20more minutes to finally assign me one. The people on the counter do not explain all the charges

Smooth transaction from start to finish. Great price too

I asked for self fueling on return. I filled it up to the top of the tank and saw later I was charged for 6 gallons at 14$/gallon on my receipt. An absolute rip off ! never with Hertz again !

Their computer ststem redirected my LAX reservation to Northridge, CA.

Order was cancelled and I didn’t know until I got there. Person tried to text me but it didn’t go through. I should have been notified via email or other ways. Shouldn’t have been able to book it in the first place

Hi The rental car we hired the steering wheel has a vibration at 60mph, which made the journey very uncomfortable and not enjoyable at all. Based on this, I would appreciate a full refund due to the discomfort of the entire trip. I look forward to hearing back from you. Kind regards Darcy Brown

It was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend you to my friends

It was the worst vacation related experience ever! After waiting a 1/2 an hour for a Budget bus at LAX we tried to hail one down only to have the empty Budget bus accelerate away from us. After another 5 minutes of waiting we tried to get another bus’s attention as it tried to evade us, again it was empty, I jumped toward it and it stopped. The Budget bus driver yelled at me for jumping in the street and then proceeded to load everyone on the bus then he got into argument with a traffic police officer. Then he got in the bus and finally we thought we were on our way. Keep in mind this is about 35 minutes of waiting at the curb at the American terminal at LAX at 9:30 PM. But no. For some inexplicable reason the Budget bus driver got out of his seat and ran out of the bus and restarted the argument with the traffic officer. He started pushing the officer around and then jumped back in the bus and said the officer assaulted him. From were I was sitting it seemed like the opposite really happened. Then he announced that a supervisor was needed. More waiting as he called on the radio for a supervisor. After that he went back outside and argued with now a congregation of officers. I called the local Budget office and told them what happened and to send another bus asap. I urged the others, there were about a dozen of us to do the same. Then my wife spotted another Budget bus. I ran outside and flagged it down. Afterwards all of us got on the bus and we were finally on way to get our Budget rental car. Luckily there was no line to get the car because apparently for what ever reason the buses were not picking up renters at the terminals. I will never rent from Budget again. And I urge everyone not to consider Budget for their rental needs especially at LAX .

The pickup process was extremely slow.

Easy fast, just a short wait in line, and drop off was so fast.

hertz dollar and thrifty are the same company they combined dollar and thrifty so when i arrived to pick up car there were at least 100 people about 2 and 1/2 hr wait unbelievable

It was easy to get the car and go after the paperwork. Very easy drop off procedure.

This is a scam company

Our plane was about 15 minutes behind schedule. Then we waited with rental car pickup for about 30 minutes for a shuttle that never came. I called multiple numbers and finally got a person on the phone and was told I needed to be with the hotel shuttles in a totally different spot instead of with the rental shuttles. They also let me know they had already given away our vehicle since it was about 30-45 min after our original pickup time and they had no other vans. They didn’t make it clear how to get there and then made zero effort to contact us before giving away our car. Turned the first day into a nightmare where we spent over 3 hours just trying to get a vehicle and ended up at a rental center an hour away from the airport. That means an extra $200 in Uber fees was spent and departure day was also a nightmare and we had to leave our hotel at 4am in order to make flights.

Kayak didn't forward my information to the rental company which delayed my pickup.
