Pick up and drop off was nightmare had to call to get shuttle on pick up and drop off waited for almost 40 minutes for shuttle leave the rental depot to bring to airport almost missed flight. Needs to have a more frequent shuttle or workers drive customers in the rentals.

Just an awful experience. I had prepaid for my rental at Hertz a month in advance. I was using the car to go out of state for a vacation. When I went to pick up my rental, I was told there was no car available. Then...I was made to call the 800 number to get a refund!! The rental agent at the Wood St. hertz location are beyond rude!! They offered me no help at all!! I ended up getting a rental through Enterprise. Hertz has lost me as a customer!!!

Bert employee was an hour late to work. Once she arrived we found out they didn’t have the car we reserved. Had to find an enterprise and Uber there. We were 90 minutes late leaving because of hertz. Never again.

Sixt is absolutely the worst car rental in US. They will look for anything to add up charges. Dishonest and predatory. Do NOT recommend to anyone. Something to note, cars are smaller compared to other rental companies for the same class.

I will never rent cars from Sixt again. Ever. In selected the wrong date for a rental and promptly canceled the reservation one week before the rental date. Sixt forced me to pay $100 to cancel. This is grossly unfair and a predatory business practice.

Despite getting a confirmation from Kayak 3 hrs before pickup, when we Ubered to the place we were told that the lady at the counter kept insisting systems were down and this reservation from Kayak was in error. She said there were no vehicles available thought the lot outside had plenty of cars… terrible experience

We rented an EV but on arrival they did not have any EVs charged. The replacement vehicle was nice but smelled significantly of smoke and we did not have time to return to attempt to get another vehicle.

We’ve rented a lot of cars while traveling and this was easily the most stressful and strange experience. We paid for a premium luxury SUV and they brought out the dirtiest, oldest rental car we’ve ever seen. 81K miles on the clock and showed every one of them. They then tried to put us in a small sedan - there are four of us and we had four suitcases … So they said we could take a Ford Explorer. We said that was fine but we’d like the difference in cost refunded as it would have been $100 cheaper to rent that one. They said they couldn’t do that. Finally, they found us a premium luxury SUV that was (mostly) clean. Just a really bizarre experience and they kept saying there was nothing they could do, until we said we’d like to cancel and we’d walk down to another rental company. What should have taken 15 minutes ended up being an hour and a half. Totally put us off ever renting from Budget again.

There were coffee spills and a small bag of trash in the car. It was obvious they relied on the previous renters to do the cleaning. It seems like the staff didn't check the car before my use. The car was fine, the gas was full and there was no damage to the vehicle, but it could have been cleaned better and it also had the scent of cigarettes.

Line to pickup was a disaster. For awhile no one was even at the counter despite a line of 20+. System to get cars was very inefficient so each person getting their car took way longer than it should. Do not blame the counter representatives who did the best they could, but everything was poorly organized and poorly run.

The pick up was understaffed and poorly run. It took one and one half hours to pick up the car after arriving to the pick up location. After a long flight and a long drive ahead this lack of efficient service is unexceptable.

The car smelled like cigarette smoke when we got in. One of the windshield wipers didn't work properly. We were charged for an extra day because we dropped off the car a little outside business hours (traffic was really bad because of the rain).

Aggressive and argumentative staff at this location did not honor this reservation, instead choosing to grift for an extra $10 fee to receive a vehicle in the class reserved rather than an electric substitute. My plans were incompatible with an electric vehicle and I disagreed on principle with paying such a nebulous fee, so left without a vehicle.

When booking the car no mention was made that the car was at the airport. Fortunately Thrifty is owned by Herrz who took action to loan us a car in the train station. However, on return there was confusion about closing the contract resulting in us not knowing the cost of the rental.

They didn’t have our vehicle so we had to PAY for an upgrade to fit our family. The lady we dealt with was rude as heck. The upgrade we paid for was dirty with food and mold in the cup holders. NEVER AGAIN!
