the lines were so long that my reservation passed and i could not use the scan codes to set up acct and go stright to the car. this was the same for the dozens of folks in line with me. After 20+ hours of travel a 2+ hour line to get a car was brutal... Also the miorrors were folded up so i got on Toronto Freeways and could not see until i found a safe spot to pull off and fix the mirrors.

The rear view mirror is unusable, it jumps up and down and is a safety concern. There was a pizza box in the rear cargo area and a spill of some kind around the cup holders. The check engine was on the entire duration due to oil change required in 1600km when our rental was for 1800+ KM. The Auto Lights/Wiper function is malfunctioning so at night you have no auto lights which is a huge safety concern. The odometer read 5km higher then our slip when we checked in, we hadn't even driven the vehicle and we were 5km over the start KM.

I was asked for my boarding pass, the Rep would not let me rent w/o that. Which was already in my sisters car, in a snow storm. I met her @ Ter1 before getting picked up from Ace. The car I got had a strong smell of Weed, yet, these cars are not to be smoked in! Then I got stuck on the 401 exiting to 427, because the 2022 Elantra had worn tires in the front, & full tread on the rear! I got stuck in the snow 3 times after that. I also dropped off the car 2 days early with a full tank, but got it lower than 3/4. The Rep that took me to the airport said he'll look into a partial refund, but never heard anything up to now, the 12th! What a shame, I would've wrote only pos things, but, Ace caused this review onto themselves! Moe

The vehicle was very clean and functional, service at the office quick and efficient. Friendly staff. Price very reasonable. However, the instructions that were posted by 'QeeQ' on how to get from arrival at Pearson airport to the shuttle pickup location were very poor. It took 5 airport personnel to direct me to the correct route, the first 4 were wrong and couldn't make sense of the instructions either.

The place where I pick up the van was like a zoo, the guy that took me to the car didn’t want to check the van for damage and I ask him to and he says every was ok at the exit they will do it. I left to the next guy and told him they are some indentation on the van and he says that everything was fine and I was never provide with a inspection slip. The van was filthy and with garbage from the previous person. Was never wash or clean after the last use. Had no choice but to take the van as I need it to travel for 3 hours . Price was insane for the value and the kind of van.

Staff were friendly

There are tons of hidden fees involved so the price advertised is not right - from premium location surcharge of $40 to all sorts of other hidden fees - I booked my car for $54 and ended up paying $289. The location is also not very easy to find.
