  • Accommodation in the town of Amalfi is not as pricey as elsewhere along the coast because the town is large. It is a great place to use as the base for seeing the rest of this amazing coastline. Get around on the SITA buses.

The walk offers excellent views out to sea and the beach itself, once you reach it, is more tranquil, with white sand and a few good beachfront bars and restaurants, framed by some beautiful bougainvillea.
  • Don’t miss the Villa Rufolo in Ravello. The villa is supposed to be the place that inspired Wagner for his opera Parsifal.
