Most visitors from Palawan need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and/or quarantine to enter Bora Bora.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Visitors from Palawan must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 24 hours before departing to Bora Bora.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors from Palawan are not required to quarantine after entering Bora Bora.

Documents
Travel Registration Form - All travelers including citizens and residents arriving by air are required to register on the Polynesian Electronic Travel Information System (ETIS) no later than 6 days and at most 30 days before departure and confirmation must be presented at check-in. Minors traveling with their parents can be included in their ETIS form.

During the application process, travelers might be requested to complete an additional step to request approval from the High Commissioner.

Travelers aged 11 years and older accompanying a vaccinated adult are exempt from declaring an overriding reason.

Health Pass for Public Activity - Travelers are required to present a health pass in digital or printed form before checking in air and sea transportation between islands, visiting discotheques, nightclubs, cultural, artistic, and festive events, exhibitions.

The health pass consists of one of the following:

-Proof of vaccination;

-Proof of a COVID-19 negative test, taken no more than 24 hours before attending an activity;

-Proof of recovery or a certificate of a positive test (issued by a competent health authority), dated at least 11 days and less than 6 months ago.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it as a health pass. French nationals including Polynesian residents can use the TousAntiCovid application.

Health Insurance - Travelers are required to pay for health insurance when applying for their travel registration form.
